Tracy Spottiswoode

Tracy is an award winning writer, director and animator, graduate on Media Xchange’s Advance Television Writing Course (Jan ’18) and Ffilm Cymru are supporting her first Welsh-Language feature. Her radio plays have featured on BBC Radio 4, including series STATION ROAD and SOLO BEHIND THE IRON CURTAIN, to critical acclaim. Tracy’s first model animation CODENAME CORGI won the Sgrin/S4C Animate It award, two Welsh BAFTAs, Gold in Chicago and was runner up to Nick Park in the British Animation Awards. She followed it with a 36 episode series COLIN AND CUMBERLAND for BBC, winning a BAFTA Cymru. Live action short DING DONG won a Screen Gem Award and she wrote on Red Planet / BBC Wales series CRASH. Tracy was Development Exec at Film Agency Wales and Manager of BFI Talent NET.WORK. Her original feature scripts: MEDUSA is in development with Big Bad Wolf Productions, selected for Guiding Lights 2013; SPY ON THE ROOF OF THE WORLD is in development with Faber Productions.
