Matt’s latest as producer, YESTERDAY, with Working Title, written by Richard Curtis and directed by Danny Boyle, released Summer 2019. DOUBLE DATE and KALEIDOSCOPE both launched at Edinburgh International Film Festival 2017, the latter nominated for the Michael Powell award. THE CALL UP was released in May 2016 and Matt’s short SLR was Oscar nominated. As a writer Matt is currently adapting GRINNY, a Nicholas Fisk novel for Met Film / BFI and is under commission to Working Title, and his feature SIDE BY SIDE screened in the family section of BFI’s London Film Festival 2013. In 2005 he wrote the New Line feature THE SICK HOUSE. Screenplay THE INTREPIDS featured on the Brit List and short films INSEPARABLE, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, screened at LA Shorts and the BFI London Film Festival and WORM aired on Channel 4. Matthew is developing a slate of projects as producer and continues to work as a writer.
